Decorative Flake Floors, Explained

Flake floors (sometimes called chip floors) are decorative epoxy systems where coloured vinyl flakes are hand-broadcast into a wet basecoat, then sealed under a clear topcoat. The result is a textured, multi-tone finish that hides imperfections and looks incredible in sunlight.

How it's installed

Prep, primer, basecoat tinted to your chosen base colour, flake broadcast to refusal, then a clear sealer (or two for high-traffic areas).

Why people love it

It hides stains, scratches and dust. It's slip-resistant. It comes in dozens of blends. And it lasts as long as any solid-colour epoxy.
